Butternut hosted Bayfield on Thursday with a full squad, and the offense came out firing. The Midgets quickly jumped out to a 48-11 halftime lead and cruised in the second half for a 75-25 win. Caitlynn Bebeau connected on 4 of the Midgets 6 three pointers, leading the way with 22 points. Kendra Pritzl added 21, Gianna Nahring 16 and Isabelle Przybylski with 9.
Butternut improves to (10-7, 13-10) and will wrap up the regular season next Thursday at home vs Drummond.
