The Chequamegon Girls Basketball Team traveled to Abbotsford Tuesday for a Marawood Conference Battle.
Chequamegon struggled early, trailing by as many as 20 points in the 1st Half. Foul trouble hampered Chequamegon throughout the game, with 4 of the 5 Eagle starters fouling out of the game.
With all that said, Chequamegon battles back in the 2nd half, pulling to within 2 points late. Abbotsford was able to hold off the late charge, and held on for the 72-65 victory.
Chequamegon was led by Jalen Brunell with 17 points, followed by Addison Bablick with 14 and Madi Ernst with 13.
