WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – Put your pedal to the pavement with Mayor Doug Diny, on a dedicated ride into town.
Everyone is invited to celebrate Bike to Work Week by biking to work with Mayor Doug Diny on Tuesday, May 14th.
This ride will be dedicated in memory of Pat Peckham, a former alderman, journalist, resident of Wausau, and a tireless advocate for biking.
The event will feature a relaxed and casual 15-minute bicycle ride, starting at Marathon Junction located in Marathon Park and ending at City Hall.
Participants will gather at 7:15 am at Marathon Junction in Marathon Park, at 7:30 am the ride will begin, and 7:45-8:30 am participants will enjoy breakfast treats and coffee at City Hall Park.
