The Loggers made the long road trip across the state to take on the Grantsburg Pirates. The Phillips team started out strong w 17 attack kills in the first set taking it 25-16. The teams traded sets 22-25, 25-19, 18-25 to set up a deciding game 5. The Loggers served aggressively to keep the Pirates out of system leading to a 15-9, 3-2 victory. The Logger had an attack average of .222, one of their highest of the season. With the win the Loggers up their season record to 30-4. The team will travel to St Croix Falls on Saturday to take on the #1 ranked team in Division 3. Game time is set for 7 pm.
