Phillips Volleyball Defeats Auburndale/Owen-Withee – 9/16/23

On Saturday the Loggers made the trip to Owen-Withee HS to compete in a triangular meet. The Loggers earned a 25-16, 26-24 win over Auburndale in their first match. The Phillips team then faced off against the host team.
The Loggers battled to a 25-20, 25-20 match victory.
The JV team lost a tough 0-2 match to Auburndale but fought back to beat Owen Withee 2-0. Next up for the Loggers is a conference match at county rival Chequamegon on Tuesday evening.
Iliana Winter and Brook Eckert led the varsity team w 22 service points. Mataya Eckert had 22 attack kills Brooke 11 and Iliana 9. Kacy Eggebrecht had 32 assist and Alie Williams 17. Libero Lily Miller led the team w 19 digs.
