Lloyd John Kunick 81, of Nisula, MI passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2026 at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay, WI. Eighteen days after the passing of his beloved wife, Linda.
Born in Baraga, MI to Florence (Sipe) Kunick and Albert Kunick. He was a Vietnam Veteran, a Navy SeaBee, retiring with 22 years of service. He married the love of his life, Linda, June, 22, 1973. Lloyd was a manual labor worker most of his life. Working at White Pine Copper Mine for many years. Later in life, he worked for KBIC as security. Walmart lastly before retirement. He was a man of many trades and worked hard doing any of them.
He loved hunting and more so loved that his brothers and family were all together. All of them on the hunt for the Big Buck. Usually he was outside, working on something. He loved tractors, heavy equipment or anything else he could drive. He was a total show off on anything he could spin doughnuts with or pulling us with the snowmobile and then taking jumps on his own to show off to us kids and friends. He was just a hot rod at heart.
He loved his family and would do anything for us or any family member. Always there to help build something or scout out a good deal on some piece of equipment to buy.
Lloyd is survived by his loving children. April and Ken Vervisch of Alston MI. Lloyd Kunick of Nisula, MI. Connie and Mike Callahan of Green Bay, WI.
