Patricia “Pat” Alyce Walker (Martin), age 75, passed away peacefully at
home on April 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Pat was born on March 21, 1951, in Ontonagon, Michigan, to Ivan and Alice
Martin. She grew up rooted in the values of family, kindness, and hard work
that would define her life.
On October 5, 1968, Pat married the love of her life, Alfred “Jerry” Walker.
Together they built a beautiful life and raised two children, sharing 57 years
of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Pat dedicated many years of her professional life as a surgical technologist,
working at St. Vincent and Aurora Hospitals in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She
took great pride in her work and the care she provided to others.
Outside of her career, Pat found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of
life. She spent many happy hours sewing quilts alongside her best friend, Joy,
and with the ladies of her quilting club. She had a deep love for dancing and
delighted in teaching others, always encouraging everyone to join in. A true
country music fan, Pat especially adored Alan Jackson—her admiration for
his music was well known and fondly remembered.
Pat also loved traveling to Nashville, making trips twice a year to enjoy
music and dancing. Above all, she treasured time spent with her husband,
children, and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that her family will
carry forward.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Alfred “Jerry” Walker; her daughter,
Kristine (Randy) Hibbs; and her son, Jerome “AJ” (Melissa) Walker. She was
a proud grandmother to Ja-Nai Hibbs, Addyson Hibbs (fiancé Mike Maile),
Jack Walker, Audrey Walker, and Jonah Walker.
Pat is also survived by her brothers, Jim (Lorraine) Martin and John (Colette)
Martin; and her in-laws, Carol (Don) Miluii, John (Eunice) Walker, Judy
Ashby, and Robert (Janine) Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Alice Martin; her
stepfather, Jack Reynolds; Sue (Phil) Broadhead; Gail (Hubert) Immonen,
Anita (Carl) Pantii, Murnie (Steve) Roberts, Arthur and Marion Walker and
Tim Walker.
Pat will be remembered for her warmth, her love of music and dancing, her
creativity, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in
the many lives she touched and the memories she helped create.
Visitation is to commence at 10am Saturday, May 9, at Holy Family Church
in Ontonagon with Memorial Mass to follow at 11am.
A celebration of Pat’s life and interment will take place at a later date.
Cane Funeral Home has been entrusted to the care of the final arrangements.
