Mary Ann Oratch, 82, Park Falls

Mary Ann Oratch, age 82, of Park Falls, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2026, after a short illness.  Mary was born on July 12, 1943, in Ashland, the daughter of Victor Oratch Sr. and Mary Ann Zumer.  After graduating high school, Mary started working at the Park Falls Paper Mill at the age of 18 and worked there until she retired.  After retirement Mary enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and being with friends and family. 

She is survived by her sisters: Patricia & Barb of Ashland and Rita & Vicki of Kentucky, her dear friends Kathy and Grant of Park Falls, her “grandchildren”:  Stephanie, of Park Falls, Jeremy of Park Falls, and Christopher of Ashland, her “great-granddaughter” Everleigh, and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Birch Street Funeral service in Park Falls on Tuesday May 26, 2026, at 11:00am with a gathering of family and friends from 10:00am until the celebration of life/sharing of memories.
