
Donald A. Hill, 69, of Phillips, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Marshfield Hospital in Minocqua, WI. He was born on August 19, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Elwin “Bud” and Lois (Janke) Hill.
Donnie was a kind and generous soul. Though he had no children of his own, he devoted much of his life to caring for his neighbors, family, and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a deep love for animals, leaving behind his cherished companions, Milo and Pebbles.
Donnie was known for his warm heart, adventurous spirit, being an avid sportsman, and his love of driving his ATV through town. His giving nature and presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Bonnie, Michael, Beverly, and Mary. Donnie is survived by his sister Linda, brothers Terry (Beverly), James (Dawn), brother in-law Chano and sister in-law Melissa along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
He will forever be remembered with love by his family, friends, and community.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
