Phillips Volleyball Begins the 2024 Season

The Loggers Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Hayward last night for a triangular meet to start the season. The Loggers defeated Washburn 2-0 (25-9, 25-10) and Hayward 2-0 (25-12, 25-18). The team was led by Mataya Eckert with 22 attack kills while Kendra Timmers added 4. Lily Miller had 29 assists with Mya Hertlein delivering 3. Lily served up 4 aces and Gabby Prostek 3. Mataya had 14 digs with libero Layla Staroba getting 11.
The Logger Varsity team travels to the Marathon Invitational on Saturday.
The Phillips JV team played in Medford last night and faced some stiff competition, falling to Shawno, DC Everest and Medford.
