Anna Marier Lukes, 87

Anna Marie Lukes, 87, passed away at her home on Sept. 19th, 2018.  She was born in Medford, WI on April 17th, 1931.  She was the daughter of Frank and Theresa Kraemer.  She attended the Catholic School in Medford and later studied to be a Nun.  She met Donald Lukes and married him on 1949.  They spent many years farming near Catawba.

She later went on to work in nursing homes and home health care, until age 71.  Her hobbies were playing dice, crafts, reading, sewing and knitting

She is survived by 2 daughters:  Karen Lukes of Ogema and Theresa Lukes of Prentice.  Also survived by 3 songs:  Chuck Lukes of Ogema, Frank Lukes of Ogema and Paul Lukes of Ogema.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She is further survived by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers.

Please join us to celebrate Anna’s life on Saturday, Sept. 29th, 2018.  Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prentice, WI at 11am.  Lunch will follow.
