Angelo Buttice, 77, Phillips

Angelo Buttice, 77, of Phillips, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at his home. He was born to Angelo and Melva (Ennis) on January 16, 1946.

He was born and raised in Chicago. He married Donna Janos in 1978, together they moved up to the Northwoods. He had a passion for fishing, wood working, and snow blowing. He enjoyed helping people with cleaning up their yards. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. He loved to spend his morning at Phillips Café with his friends. He was a member of the VFW Woodruff Post 7898.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Dawn Marie (Donald) Conner, Nathan, Elizabeth (Tyler) Pripps; 8 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe, and Jerry; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Florence Cappello.

Per Angelo’s wishes, there will not be a Formal Service. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
