Aletha Mabel Lewis, age 87, of Park Falls, formerly of Hayward, died on Saturday April 20, 2019 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born on May 9, 1931 in Yakima, Washington, the daughter of Murray and Susan Lindsley. Her early life and schooling were in Iowa. On July 29, 1950 she married Leonard Everett Lewis. Aletha moved to Hayward in 1969, where she worked for Hayward Area Memorial Hospital for many years and moved to the Park Falls area in 2000. She was a member of the Phillips Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and spent over 40 years teaching others about the Bible. She enjoyed traveling, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her family and friends.

Lawrence (Arbutus) Lewis of Brawley, CA
(14) grandchildren and many great-grandchildren
her sister Jeanette (Donald) Spranger of Montana
and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 1974, (2) sons: Steven Jay and Roger Ernest Lewis, her grandson Daniel, and (2) sisters: Bethel Lindsley and Patricia Woina.
A private family gathering is planned for a later time.
