OASD Assistant Superintendent to move to Florida
OSHKOSH, WI—(WISS)— After 33 years of dedicated service to the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD), Assistant Superintendent of Operations Julie Conrad-Peters is leaving. Conrad-Peters announced she will be the new Lake Wales Charter Schools Superintendent in Lake Wales, Florida.
During her career with OASD, Conrad-Peters served as high school teacher, department chair, and high school assistant principal. She was a middle school principal, and director of curriculum and assessment, before taking on her current role as assistant superintendent of operations.
“Julie has been a tremendous asset to the Oshkosh Area School District and community for over three decades,” said Dr. Bryan Davis, superintendent of the OASD. “Her leadership and deep commitment have truly impacted our students and our operations.
“While we are sad to see her go, this is a remarkable and well-deserved opportunity for her professional growth, and allows her to be closer to her family in Florida. We extend our deepest gratitude for her service and wish her every success in her new role.”
The district said in a press release that Conrad-Peters was pivotal in leading district operations for the last two years, overseeing the district’s facilities, safety, transportation, food services, and overall operational efficiency, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for thousands of students annually.
The OASD will begin its search for the next assistant superintendent of operations in the coming weeks.
