TWO RIVERS, WI—(WISS)—Two Rivers Police took two juveniles into custody over the weekend after investigating a “serious threat” to L.B. Clark Middle School. According to a letter sent to the families of the Two Rivers Public School District, one of the juveniles making the school threat is a current student, and the other is a former student.

The letter says the Two Rivers Police Department investigated the threat immediately and continued to do so through the weekend.

“We teach and encourage our students and school community to report anything that could constitute a threat to individuals or the school,” Clark Middle School Principal Tim Webster wrote. “If you have information about anyone’s safety being at risk, please report it to someone who can help. You can call the school and talk to an administrator, the school resource officer, or call the police department. Don’t assume that we are aware. We would rather receive hundreds of reports about the same thing than none at all.”

The statement did not say what if any charges were filed against the two juveniles for the alleged school threat.
