Robert Calvin Didier

age 88, of Park Falls, died on September 26, 2026 at Park Manor Nursing home in Park Falls.

He was born on April 11, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles and Margaret (Mikosz) Didier. Robert worked as a window washer in Chicago before obtaining his technical diploma to become a mechanic. He spent much of his working life as an auto mechanic, including working on school buses. He also worked at various gas stations. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who loved living at his cabin in Morse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, working with Model A automobiles, and playing cards. He had an amazing sense of humor and was known for doing things his own way. Above all, he was proud of his children and loved his family.

He is survived by his four children: Jake Didier of Green Bay, Lois Wendt-Didier of Green Bay, Linda (Matt) Michalski of Park Falls, and Wanda (Brent) Burhans of Park Falls; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his former wife and the mother of his children, Betty; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Jerry.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church Glidden. Deacon Bob is officiating.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church.
