Wanda Smetak, 66, Park Falls

Wanda Smetak 66 of Park Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 28,
2026, surrounded by love. She was born on April 24, 1960, in Park Falls, the daughterW
of Leon and Opal (Morford) Smetak.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Smetak; her brothers, Randy Smetak and
James Smetak; and her niece, Rachel Greenwood.
She is survived by her loving daughter; Amber (William) Stynes, of Park Falls,
Wisconsin, and her son Adam Hosey, of Appleton, Wisconsin.
She is also survived by her mother Opal Smetak of Park Falls, Wisconsin; three sisters:
Kathy (Wally) Krenzke of Phillips, Wisconsin, Wendy (Ron)Hansen; and Brenda
Smetak, both of Park Falls Wisconsin; three brothers: Leon Jr. (Nancy) Smetak of
Phillips, Wisconsin; Rodney Smetak of Park Falls, Wisconsin; Bruce Smetak of
Catawba, Wisconsin, and her partner John Mancl, of Park Falls.
She was a proud grandmother to Hannah Stynes, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Onnicah
(Tyler) Fairchild of Appleton, Wisconsin; Elijah Hosey, of Appleton Wisconsin, Grayson
Hosey of Appleton Wisconsin; and Bodhi Petersen of Appleton, Wisconsin; and one
great granddaughter Hadley Fairchild, of Appleton Wisconsin.
Rest peacefully mom. You will forever be loved, forever be missed and forever be a part
of us.
Interment at Nola Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
