Arlene Kathren Elmer, age 94, of Park Falls, died peacefully at Park Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday July 22,
- She was born on August 23, 1931, in Phillips, the daughter of Micheal “Mickey” and
Minnie (Schweikert) Delasky. On October 14, 1950, she married Melvin “Bucky” Elmer. They
shared many happy years until his death on April 24, 2014. Arlene was a hardworking,
determined woman who could not rest until all the work was done. She devoted her life to
caring for others, especially her family. She embraced the Northwoods way of life by fishing
with her husband, camping with her family, and snowmobiling with her friends. She enjoyed
cleaning, crocheting, quilting, gardening, watching Wisconsin sports and listing to polka music.
She is survived by three children; Sharon (Glen) Lewandowski of Colby, Darla (Ted) Pydo of
Butternut, Randy (Sharon) Elmer of Park Falls, (7)grandchildren; Todd (Erika) Pydo, Travis
(Cassie) Pydo, Jason Lewandowski, Andy (Krysta) Lewandowski, Stacey (Mike) Dahl, Becky
(Chris) Coffeen, Juleen (Matt) Busnelli, (13)greatgrandchildren, (5)siblings; Melvin “Butch”
(Marian) Delasky, Robert Delasky, Marian Delasky, Judy Duhr, Jean (Lee) Belan, sister-in-law
Violet Delasky, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her parents, sister Millie, and brothers Edgar, Allen, and Mick Delasky,
and many In-laws.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday August 3, 2026, at Peace Lutheran Church
in Park Falls. Rev. Samuel Morsching will officiate.
Burial at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls will follow.
A visitation will be held on Monday August 3, 2026, from 10:00am until the hour of the service,
at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Catkins.
