James F. Nigh, 77, Park Falls

James F. Nigh 77 of Park Falls, was called home on June 10th 2026. Born on August 29th, 1948, Jim lived life to the fullest with love, laughter, joy and devotion to family and friends.

Jim’s greatest joys in life was his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his 4-legged buddy Teddy. He also loved to go hunt, fish, and camping or any outdoor activities. Creating great memories and stories for later use. In his early years Jim was proud to be a hunter, bow hunter, & atv safety instructor, teaching many young people the safety and responsibilities. He enjoyed all his hunting trips with his daughter Dawn, even when she really didn’t want to go.

Jim met his forever love Judy in Wisconsin Rapids where the two decided to venture off to the Northwoods so they could continue to make memories together, but unfortunately not able to do all they dreamed of.

Jim is survived by his children Dawn Sandberg (Glenn) and Lewis Nigh. He was proud of his grandchildren Cynthia Nigh, Brandon Czlapinski, Cody & Nicole Bennett, Keith White. And his 6 great grandchildren Max, Liam, Elijah, Jaxon, Brantley, &Ryker. And many friends that he made along the way.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Geneva (Lafler) Nigh. Sister Mona, and daughter Jodi.

Our hearts are heavy we find comfort in knowing his love will live on in each of us every day.

Celebration of life for Northwood’s friends will be: July 18th, at Park Village 700 Division St. Park Falls, time be determined later.

Private family services and celebration will be announced later.
