Carol J. Jarvensivu, 83, of River Road in Brantwood, passed away at her home on Monday, August 4, 2025. Carol was born December 30, 1941 in Tomahawk to Arthur and Veronica (Young) Crass. She married Jack N. Jarvensivu on July 20, 1963, also in Tomahawk. He passed away in 2013. Carol was a 1959 graduate of Tomahawk High School. She had formerly worked at the Tripoli Oil Company, Clifford Co-op, and Ed Behling Insurance, and was office manager for Bob Wallis and Kevin Urmann at the State Farm Insurance Agency in Tomahawk. She was a member of the Tripoli Elementary Mothers Club and was one of the founding members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Prentice, where she served as Church Treasurer, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Carol was a longtime member of the Town of Knox election board and was active in the local Al-Anon chapter. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures – tending to her gardens, baking treats for those she loved, and cheering faithfully from the sidelines at any of her children’s or grandchildren’s events. A woman of deep faith, she lived her life with grace, compassion, and unwavering support for those around her.

Carol is further survived by her sisters-in-law: Georgeanne Crass, Jeanie Crass and Connie (Jarvensivu) Laird; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jack N. Jarvensivu; son-in-law, Greg Jaeger; brothers: Barry Young (Nancy), Art Crass (Marge), Ron Crass, and Ken Crass; and sisters: Sherry Thompson (Tom) and Sandra Stieber (Clifford).
