Carol “Dale” Ann Mrozek, 83, Yorkville

Carole “Dale” Ann Mrozek
age 83, of Yorkville, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at Marshfield Medical
Center–Park Falls. Carole was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to John T. and Lorraine
(Lambrecht) Stroud. During her childhood, her family moved to the Loretta/Draper area, where
she grew up enjoying the outdoors. She later returned to Yorkville, where she married the love
of her life, Robert P. “Skinna” Mrozek, on February 7, 1959. Though they lived in Yorkville,
Carole and her family often vacationed in northern Wisconsin. An easy-going and adventurous
outdoorswoman, Carole found great joy in hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. She was
known for her generosity, warmth, and welcoming spirit—her door was always open to those in
need, especially her beloved family.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Jessie (Larry) Wahl of Union Grove; her grandsons, Jason
(Jessica) Wahl of Park Falls and Matthew Wahl of Union Grove; and her great-grandchildren,
Skyy and Kalob. She is further survived by her siblings, Susie Tweedale of Appleton and John T.
(Jean) Stroud of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and her son Robert J. Mrozek.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
