Madeline “Penny” Lepkowicz, 78, of Glidden WI, passed away on June 6, 2025, after a
prolonged battle with medical issues. Surrounded by her family, she left behind a legacy of
love and kindness.
Early Life and Family
Born on December 31, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, to Richard and Mae (Hardy) Snider,
Penny was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended local schools, including West
Division High School and St. Joan Antida High School. After raising her children, she worked
at SuperOne Deli, bartended, and made evergreen roping and blankets.
Hobbies and Interests
Penny had a passion for various activities, including watching the Milwaukee Braves Baseball
Team, bowling, playing pool, and knitting baby hats and blankets to donate to various
hospitals and organizations. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and
friends.
Family and Survivors
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill Lepkowicz; daughters Penny Davis, Tammy
(Jim) Peters, and Nina (Ed) Davis; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; close friend Barb
Pankratz; her loving pups Mayzee and Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Troy Davis, grandson
Hunter Davis-Katzenberger, and sister Pat Donovan.
Services and Memorial
Interment will take place at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in Glidden. A celebration of life will
be held at a later date. Birch Street Funeral Service is assisting the family. For more
