Mary Jo Koshak, 87, Park Falls

Mary Jo Koshak, age 87, of Park Falls, died peacefully on Saturday April 26, 2025, at Park Manor Nursing Home.  She was born on September 18, 1937, in Park Falls, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kundinger) Campbell.  After High School she worked various jobs but took a short break to raise her children.  As her children grew, she began working outside the home again.  She settled in Human Services for Price County before retirement.  Mary Jo was a hardworking woman with an unmatched sense of humor and wit.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, taking trips to the casino, baking bread, and loved all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers.  She was an avid reader who loved doing readings at church. Most of all, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by (4)children; Lee Ann (Rick) Koshak of Winter,  Jeff (Susan) Koshak of Park Falls, Kelly (David) Koshak of Park Falls, Lisa Strauss of Sussex, (10)grandchildren; Michelle (Kris), Justin (Amanda), Susanna (Stoney), Chuck (Emily), Dan (Robyn) Charlotte (Christopher), Whitney (Jordan), Noah, Nicholas, (9)great-grandchildren; Victoria, Vincent, Magiq, Navianna, Jaysa, Garnet, Sayler, Magnolia, Jonah, sister-in-law Berl Campbell, and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Adam, (5)siblings; Rose Ann Campbell, Sylvester (Elizabeth) Campbell, Patrick (Marty) Campbell, Cletus (Cecelia) Campbell, and Jacob Campbell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday June 23, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls.  Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate, assisted by Deacon Chet Ball.

Interment at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls will follow.

A visitation will be held at Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls on Sunday June 22, 2025, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with prayer vigil at 5:00.  A visitation will also be held on Monday June 23, 2025 from 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church.
