Ervin Henry Turner III, age 67, of Glidden died on Monday March 17, 2025, at his home, with his family by his side.  He was born on July 17, 1957, in Toledo, OH, the son of Ronald and Nancy (Gwozdz) Turner.  His early life and schooling were in Toledo.  After school he joined the U.S. Navy and served his country for four years.  When he returned home, he met the love of his life and best friend, Toni Schonter.  They married on July 17, 2002, in Ashland.  Together with their children they moved to Glidden, WI for a fresh start in 1992.  Ervin was a hardworking man who loved to tinker, hunt, fish, and enjoy nature.  He was a heavy equipment mechanic, welder, and independent logger. 

He is survived by his wife Toni Turner of Glidden, their three children; Ervin (Nicki) Turner IV, Tiffany Schonter, Adam (Crystal) Turner, (11) grandchildren, (1) great-grandchild, his sister Sheryl (Tom) Smithhisler, and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, (3)infant children; Steven, Michael, and Amber, and his brother Ronald Turner.

Per Ervin’s request, a private interment will take place at a later date.

Birch Street Funeral Service is assisting the family.
