
Christina Erickson, age 84, of Park Falls, died on Wednesday March 19, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston. She was born on March 19, 1941, in Neustadt Germany. The daughter of Alfred and Babetta (Grimm) Schneider. Her early life and schooling were in Germany where her family endured some hardships during the war. On August 19, 1959, she married Charles Erickson who was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and together they traveled Europe. In 1960 they moved to Park Falls to raise their children. She worked for a time as a waitress at Town and Country, a Baker for the public school, and as a seamstress at Micros. Christina was a social butterfly who enjoyed sewing, chatting with friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Charles Erickson of Park Falls, their two children; Michael Erickson of Wausau, Beverly Lemke of Park Falls, two grandchildren; Joseph Lemke of Ironwood, Joshua Weindorfer of Park Falls, two great-grandchildren and four siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda Van Auken, and six siblings.
A private interment will take place at a later date.
