
Jason A. Peaslee, 45, of Shell Lake passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2025, at Indianhead Medical Center. He was born September 12, 1979, in Black River Falls, WI to John and Mary Jo (Hartung).
He attended Park Falls Elementary and High School, graduating in 1998, where he made lifelong friendships and lasting memories. Jason worked at Spectrum Painting in Haugen for over 20 years as a painter and shop manager.
Although his departure is mourned by those who knew him, Jason’s legacy will live on through countless days spent playing games, laughing with friends, and attending and watching NASCAR and Formula One races. Jason was also a master of sitting around his fire pit, telling tall tales, and sharing a few cold ones with friends. Jason had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone that he could. He will be remembered and missed dearly.
Jason is survived by his parents: John and Mary Jo (Hartung) Peaslee; brother, Jeffrey (Christina) Peaslee of New Richmond; nephew, Rylie; special friend, Jenn; step-nieces: Kayla and Abbygayle; aunts and uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 3-6 PM. Funeral services will be held at 5 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Skinner Funeral Home – Shell Lake, WI.
