Auburndale Wins “Battle of the Eagles”

The Auburndale Eagles basketball team traveled to Park Falls Friday night to take on the Chequamegon Screain’ Eagles in Boys Basketball action
Auburndale jumped out to a 29-20 halftime lead, and coasted to a 59-42 victory.
Auburndale nailed nine-3 pointers on the night, led by Blake Raab. Raab lead all scorers with 23 points.
Chequamegon was led by Marcus Purdy with 12 and Cooper Michalski with 10
Chequamegon falls to 3-8 overall, and 1-5 in the Marawood.
Auburndale won their 5th consecutive game, improving to 10-1 overall, and 5-1 in the Marawood Conference.
