Theresa M. Nagel, age 92, of Park Falls, died on Saturday December 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 22, 1932, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Smith) Gomez. On September 19, 1953 she married Henry Edwin Nagel Jr.. Theresa worked various jobs and was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Camping Association, Girl Scouts of America, and very involved in Native American culture, receiving the native name of Eagle Woman. In 2012 she moved to Park Falls. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by (3)children: Kenneth (Ellen) Nagel Sr., Nancy (Jeff) Chiappetta, and Vance (Lisa) Nagel, (6)grandchildren, (6)great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry, her daughter Janet Yacovelli. and Janet’s life partner George Marciulionis, and her brother Ramon Gomez.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls on Friday January 3, 2025, at 11:00am. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara and Deacon Chet Ball will co-officiate.
A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL on Monday January 6, 2025, at 11:00am.
