Emilie Davis, age 94 of Phillips, died on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. She was born on July 26, 1930, in Athens, WI, the daughter of Louie and Emma (Hrobsky) Dvorak. On April 12, 1930, she married David Davis. Emilie and David owned their own well drilling business in Phillips for over 40 years. Emilie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, picking berries, foraging for mushrooms, and attending farmers markets & greenhouses. She also liked going out to eat and playing cards with family and friends.
She is survived by her (3)children: Sandy (George) Vojtech, Marlene (Don) Karnosh, and Jim Davis, all of Phillips, (4)grandchildren, (8)great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Polly Dvorak, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David in 2006, (2)grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Kadlecek and brother Louie Dvorak.
A private graveside service will be held.
