Tom left us for his heavenly hunting grounds on October 29, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1956, to Eugene and Carol (Haas) Niehoff. Tom was a machinist at EK in Columbus for many years. After his move to Phillips, WI where he worked for Caterpillar. Tom excelled in everything that he did. Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman, as he loved the outdoors so much. Tom was also a pro dart player. He touched many people and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his 2 brothers: Robert (Carol) Niehoff of Columbus, James (Laurie) Niehoff of Fall River; 4 sisters: Judith (Daniel) Mann of Columbus, Sandra (Robert) Pratt of Columbus, June Niehoff of Columbus, Beverly Niehoff of Columbus/Phillips; many nieces and nephews; other family and of course Tom’s amazing friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Eugene (2019) and Carol (2013) Niehoff. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 9th at 12:00 Noon at Two Lakes Cemetery County Highway H, Bayview Dr. Phillips, WI 54555. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Polish Palace N10555 E. Solberg Road following the graveside.
Memorial donations in Tom’s honor can be directed to the ALS Association, Hope Hospice 537 W. Broadway Ave. Medford, WI 54451-1610, or a memorial of your choice.
A special thank you to Bev, his sister, and a heartfelt thank you to Hope Hospice, especially Kelsey his primary nurse, as they helped us keep him where he wanted to be, home.
