Cindy Sue Scholz, age 72 of Glidden died on Monday October 28, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua. She was born July 28, 1952, the daughter of Robert Mahler and Patricia (Zimmerman) Pankratz. On November 16, 1981 she married Raymond Scholz in Glidden. Cindy was an exceptional cook who worked as a chef for the Pink Café and Greg’s Steakhouse. She enjoyed cross-stitch, crocheting, the holidays, especially Christmas. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Christopher Scholz of Glidden, her brother John (Dena) Pankratz of Glidden, (3)nephews; Matthew (Tessa) Scholz, Todd Eickermann, Shane Pankratz, (2)nieces; Tiffany Eickermann, Skylar (Cory) Pankratz, a brother-in-law Roger (Olivia) Scholz of California, and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Mahler, mother Patricia Pankratz, stepfather Ed “Chick” Pankratz, and her son Gary Segel.
A private interment will take place at Mount Hope cemetery in Glidden.
