Last night the lady Midgets took on the Mercer Tigers. The varsity lost 9-25, 13-25, 13-25. It wasn’t for lack of effort that we didn’t come away with any wins but the fact that little errors pop up and we can’t quite recover from them. These ladies really did work hard and got a lot of hard digs up for us. Alli Lueloff lead the night with 4 kills and Josie Wegner, Caitlynn BeBeau and Lizzie Pritzl all added in 3 apiece. Gianna Nahring lead with assists with 9, Josie lead in ace serves with 2 and in digs with 10 along with Lizzie who had 8 and Alli who had 6. The Midgets conference record moves to 3-2 and over all 9-8.

The JV lost 12-25 & 15-25. We always see good things from this group and things we can work on. All in all they always try hard and they are a group that doesn’t hang when things aren’t going their way. Khloe Kennedy & Virginia Augustine both had 2 kills a piece, Olivia Hamann had 2 assists and lead in ace serves with 2, Lindsey Kennedy had a great night of digging with 5 along with Virginia. The ladies will host Solon Spring on Monday, September 30 @ 6:00 with varsity playing first. This will also be senior night so let’s show our support to two amazing young ladies.
