Herman A. Luedtke, age 68, passed away on June 7, 2024, in Milwaukee, WI. He was born on July 6, 1955, in Kenosha WI, grew up in Neillsville WI, and raised his family in Fifield WI. Herman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a vibrant personality, was outgoing, and had a heart full of love. He dedicated his life to serving his community as an EMT for the volunteer ambulance service and was a mentor and life coach to many. Herman was also known for his passion for coaching football and hockey, as well as holding the Wisconsin record for bench press in the senior men’s class.

In his career, Herman held managerial positions at the Park Falls Paper Mill, Case Company, and Wisconsin Electric Power Company. He was a dedicated professional in his field of Environmental Operations.

Herman worshipped at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, weightlifting, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda, sons Brendan (Ariel) Luedtke, Kevin (Heather) Luedtke, daughter Erica Gay, grandchildren Taylynn and Xena Luedtke, brothers Willie, Jim (Karlene), John (Denise), and Daniel (Cheryl) Luedtke, sisters Carol (Tony) Gohde, Belinda (Darrld) Strigel, Sue (Jim) Heck, Karen (Neal) Torkelson, Debbie Holtz, Louise (Steve) King. Herman was preceded in death by his father Herman Luedtke Sr. , mother Ruby Luedtke, and brother Kurt Luedtke.

Herman will be dearly missed by all who knew him. To honor his memory and cherish his legacy we will be holding a Celebration of Life at the Cotton Exchange in Waterford WI August 9, 2024 from 4-8 pm
