Kevin Leroy Braun, of Fond du Lac, WI, at the age of 59, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2024, at his home in Clam Lake, Wisconsin. A master of his craft, Kevin was a self-employed contractor with a specialty in flooring, whose work ethic was something that was quickly acquired by his children. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his dedication to his work; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a true adventurer at heart and Kevin enjoyed the many memories made with friends and family along the way. He always made it a priority to spend time with his children teaching them all he knew about hunting, fishing, and the many skills to apply to everyday life. His biggest lesson he taught was that nothing is impossible. Kevin lived by a “Watch me” attitude because there was almost always a way to accomplish anything, but if there wasn’t, then it made for a great story while trying. In his final years Kevin and Lisa built their dream home in Clam Lake, WI where they planned to make many memories with their kids and grandkids. Though his time was cut short, he managed to make many memories with many friends and his family that will never be forgotten in the place he called home.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of almost 39 years, Lisa Braun; his brothers; Tim (Monica) Braun and David (Julie) Braun; brother-in-law John Braatz; his children Jake (Ashley) Braun and Sammy (Brandon) Brock; his adored grandchildren Harper, Ashland, Sawyer Braun, and Avery Brock; and his Mother-in-law Rosemary Wilhelms. He also leaves behind a legacy of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many close friends who became like family. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Rosemary Braun, his siblings Debbie Braatz and Tommy Braun, and his Father-in-law Richard Wilhelms.

Kevin also leaves behind his four legged best friend and closest companion, Beau, who will greatly miss all the days at work, rides through the woods, and many adventures with his “Daddy”.

A private memorial will be held to honor Kevin’s memory. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Kevin’s love for the great outdoors are encouraged to take a moment to enjoy the beauty of nature, as he so often did.

May his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
