Christopher “Chris” Allen Kohlmeier
Age 52, of Park Falls, WI, passed away on Thursday February 22, 2024, at his home. He was born on June 29, 1971, in Park Falls, the Son of Steven Borman and Sharon Hulke. In his early years, Chris attended high school at Park Falls High and later attended North Central Technical College. Learning always came quite easily for Chris and he could converse with just about anyone on a great number of topics. He was a visionary and while some people really appreciated his unique way of seeing things, others could not quite appreciate all he had to offer. Over the years he honed his comedic skills pulling impersonations and making people laugh with his quick wit and endless sense of humor. He could recall just about any fact ever told to him at any moment and had a very creative mind. Following his education, Chris went on to work in Insurance Sales and then worked in the masonry industry in both Madison and Minneapolis where he could also spend time with his family in both areas. In his spare time Chris was a great cook, something he learned from his mother and was an avid lover of music. He loved to sing and knew just about every line to most any song of any genre, but he especially loved rock music.
Christopher was a very spiritual man who always had a smile or a kind compliment or word to share with anyone. He spent most of his time in contemplation and in prayer with Jesus Christ in order to create a better world for all of us. He found synchronicity in nature and the world around him that he wove into his daily life and expressions. Chris could be found doing little acts of kindness wherever he went whether it be paying it forward, buying groceries for donation or helping others with whatever he could give. His main focus was to end world hunger and he was especially dedicated to feeding the children of the world including providing regular donations to Bread for the World, the IRC, Child Fund International, Save the Children, UNICEF and others such as Lutheran World Relief, International Rescue Committee & St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
In lieu of Flowers or money, the family asks that you make a donation to one of Chris’ treasured charities in his Memory.
