Anna Mae Johnson, age 93 of Park Falls passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, September 5, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 7, 1930 the daughter of Mr. Edward Wiedenhoeft and Mrs. Fay (Tony) Wiedenhoeft in Park Falls, WI. Her early years were spent in Butternut on the family farm. She graduated high school from Park Falls. In November 1950 Anna Mae married the love of her life Harold (Friday) Johnson. Anna Mae retired from Flambeau Papers in 1992.
Anna Mae loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with her flowers, watching the hummingbirds and fishing. Anna Mae always cheered for the badgers and packer games. GO PACK GO!
Anna Mae is survived by two children Brad (Donna) Johnson of Park Falls and Rick (Gail) Johnson of Franklin. Five grandchildren Jennifer (Josh) Comfort, Amy (Dominic) Benedict, Sarah Johnson, Jessica (Matt) Holicek, and Stephanie (Matt) Loeffler. Seven great grandchildren Alison, Katelyn, Chelsea, Mary, Abi, Hailey, and Hayden. One sister Lucille Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents, sister Margaret, brother Edward, and brother-in-law Larry.
Funeral services will be held at Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 11:00am. Rev. Samuel Morsching will officiate.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00am until the hour of the service.
Interment will take place at a later date at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.
