Alice Rose Christian, 87, Butternut

Alice Rose Christian, age 87, of Butternut, died on Thursday March 28, 2019 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born on August 26, 1931 in Butternut, the daughter of Carl and Agnes (Hoefferle) Zimmerman. Alice was a lifelong resident of Butternut. On September 9, 1950 she married Harold Christian at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butternut. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing, nature, and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Pamela Sue, her infant grandson Jeremy, her grandson James, and her brother Gene Zimmerman.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 30, 2019 at 12:00pm from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butternut. Rev. John A. Deitz will officiate.

 

A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 11:00am until the hour of the service.

 

Burial will take place at Butternut Union Cemetery at a later date.
